Montauk Monster

This morning I was watching CNN. I don't usually watch TV in the morning, ever, but today I just wanted to get an update on some current events. Boy was I delighted when I see this lady showing people this interesting picture and asking them what they think it is.

It's the Montauk Monster of course! The answers ranged anywhere from turtle (a turtle, people? come on.) to raccoon to dog, alien, and bird-dog-monster. I'm not really sure what this video is, but apparently these three ladies have this carcass (riiiiiight) and are taking it to scientists to figure out what it is. My favorite part at the end - "And a turtle doesn't have teeth." HAHAHAHA.

Anyway, the really amusing thing, I think, was the segue from this story on CNN into the upcoming elections. "Nobody knows what this monster is, but in three months we'll be having the presidential elections and Barack Obama has been talking about his healthcare plan..."

Then, in depressing news, I hear ExxonMobil made over $11 billion this year. Does anybody else think that's wrong??? On top of that, they were disappointed with their reapings (or rapings) - they had hoped to reach $12 billion. I'll just say what you probably know I'm thinking...I HATE that the oil companies are making billions while we suffer at the pump.

Here's a special video on the Montauk Monster. Poor thing.
