Change is interesting. I like it for some things but I hate it for others. That's why it is #1001. And obviously, if you want things to stay the same, things have to change. Ponder that one for a little bit.
Anyway, I hate change when it means I have to stop using something that I've been using for basically my whole life. Like my deodorant, which they stopped making. Or when I'll eventually have to give up my favorite Marmot winter jacket and buy something else that just won't be the same. Or when they all of a sudden decide to cancel your credit card without telling you because of some mysterious fraudulent charges that they can't tell you about. Whatever.
Today I hate change because the school cafe decided to change their coffee from Green Mountain to Seattle's Best. For a couple years now I have been getting Green Mountain Breakfast Blend and I love it. We have a great relationship, me and the Breakfast Blend. It is just right. Like in Goldilocks.
But now the cafe has gone and changed their coffee supplier to some company across the country and all the names and labels and colors and coffee dispensers are different and I don't like it. I just don't like it. I want Green Mountain back and I want my Breakfast Blend!
