Pride
This morning MR participated in the Philadelphia Olympic Triathlon - 1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run, death. Haha. Well, while I think MR is crazy, I fully support her efforts. MR started the swim at 7am in the Schuylkill (ew!) so I decided to head to the transition zone to see her get out of the water and onto her bike. GO MR!!! (She's in the purple). I figured that'd probably be the last time I would see her, but about an hour later, when I decided to go for a run on Kelly Drive, I saw her again! GO MR!!! Here's a few pics (I apologize for the poor quality...my camera broke after I dropped it down the stairs). I'm so proud of her!!!

FYI... apparently there are "rules" which you cannot find on any website anywhere about things that are not allowed to happen at triathlons or you get penalties that add time on at the end...
2 penalties for unathorized equipment (aka headphones) are worth 8 minutes!!
