Lightly toasted

Today, finally, I made it to the beach. I met up with JS and SS down at SS's beach house and spent the whole day on the sand getting sun. I must say, it was quite therapeutic. And yes, I wore sunscreen, Mom. I got lightly toasted, mostly golden brown, and a little light burn in some places.

I'd have to say dinner was the icing on the cake though. We ate at a BYO sushi place. We brought some unchilled white wine, so when the server asked if we wanted ice, we said yes. She brought ice...in a bucket. So we chilled our wine by plopping ice cubes in our wine glasses! Haha. Classy.

First day at the beach this year = success!!
