Hello Mudder, hello Fadder...

Here I am at
Camp Appleby College.
It is very
Entertaining,
And they'll say we'll have some fun when it stops raining!

No really. I am beginning to think I'm the rain maker - apparently the weather was pretty nice up here at Appleby College, in Oakville, just outside of Toronto and right on the shores of Lake Ontario. Until I got here. Then it started raining. And today we had a pretty nasty thunderstorm.

I'm also beginning to think I'm a bug magnet. The first night I found an earwig type creature in my bed. Then I found three fruit flies (Drosophila, if you will) in my orange juice. A huge spider was in the window outside my dorm room. The list goes on. Fortunately, my friend ANTM isn't here. I'm not sure she could stand this "outdoor" living. Hahaha.

Anyway, this camp is far from Camp Grenada. It's been quite pleasant. And I doubt anybody will get ptomaine poisoning here...although apparently Lake Ontario's shores are infested with E. coli. Wash your hands!

With the luck the US WNT has while on tour I would say the chances of someone coming down with some sort of food poisoning are high.

Is Applebee's College where they train the waitstaff or hostesses? I didn't realize Applebee's was a Canadian company.
