RH and I decided to try our hand at the Pour House Quizzo one last time before rugby starts. It was "Just the 2 of Us" at first, and we got off to a rocky start. But then the Sharkster showed up and we got a little lucky!
The question starting the fourth round began, "In 1889, what was the first readimade breakfast mix?" RH and I looked at each other - we've heard this before, at quizzo in KOP! Sure enough the second, third, fourth...tenth questions were all the same! We quickly answered them correctly then doubled the round, pulling us into 3rd place for the final round.
This is where the Sharkster pulled through - "Name that Tune." We got 9 of 10 to jump one place and end in 2nd, 4 points behind the leaders. Although we didn't win a consolation prize (we did get a hug from the quizmaster), we're happy with our 2nd place finish! At least it wasn't 4th.
