Polo...no, not the clothing.

We were fortunate enough today to be invited to the Queen's Guard Polo Grounds. The kind of polo played on horses!! It was pretty spectacular. The polo grounds were set way back into royal park land with hiking and biking trails all around and an expanse for several polo fields.

We watched Montana take on Aspery of London, and at half time all the spectators go out and push back in the divets made by the horses. Aspery pulled in out in the end 5-4, holding of a late surge from Montana. Despite the bit of driving rain at the beginning, the day turned out splendidly and our captains got to present the awards to one of the teams!! All in all, a great post game day treat!
As the storm's coming in...

Finally, blue sky!!!

Off to the races!!

The MVP horse.

The trophy.
