Stonehenge - amazing!!

Today we had some free time so I headed to Stonehenge with my family and Claudia (also family). On the map, it's only about an hour away. But in reality, it took us over 2 hours to get there with all the traffic, roundabout hold ups, and bottlenecks!!!

Once we got there though, it was pretty amazing. You can see it standing out in the field right from the road!! They don't let you walk up to it directly, but you can walk around the whole thing and there is a guided audio tour giving you the history of the site, what it might stand for, what kind of rocks are there and where they are from, etc. Basically, they spent a lot of time talking about how nobody really knows anything about it's formation or use. Most people think it's based on the rising of the sun marked by the soltices. But seeing as how the sun NEVER SHINES here, I can't imagine that would be the reason.
