So it recently came to my attention that the Miss Universe Pageant happened this past weekend. First of all, Miss Universe? Come on. Everybody knows there's gotta be some other form of life out there that has been grossly underrepresented in this pageant. I hardly think we can call it Miss Universe and have it be true to the name. It's like the World Series. How fitting that it consists of all teams that are from the United States (with the exception of a few neighboring teams...but have they ever even made it to the WS? I'm not that great with baseball history.)? After all, the US is the world, right?
Anyway, I was just reading the blurb to see who won Miss Universe and came across the headline: Miss USA falls down. Of course I couldn't resist. And then I read that Miss USA fell LAST YEAR TOO! I laughed out loud. And then I had to find the video on youtube. Watch for yourself below:
I'm sorry, but I think this is tremendously funny. And embarrassing. Twice in a row USA??
