WOMADELAIDE!!

This weekend was the 4 day outdoor international music festival called WOMAdelaide. This festival is part of the larger WOMAD - World of Music, Arts, and Dance. Womadelaide takes place in the beautiful Adelaide Botanic Gardens, boasts 7 stages, all sorts of international food stalls, markets/shops, and entertainment for all.


There were heaps of bands from all over the world - performers from the Ukraine, Germany, Australia, Nigeria, Mali, Egypt/Sudan, Brazil, Colombia, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Ireland, the UK, Mongolia, Syria, Sweden, the list goes on!


I got a three day pass and saw as many things as possible. I GOT INVOLVED! Some of my favorites - Asa, Imelda May, Luka Bloom, Afro Celt Sound System, Angus and Julia Stone, and Amadou and Miriam.
