So Tiger Woods didn't make the cut for the third time ever in his life, or whatever. Who cares? Stewart Cink won the British Open!!! This is exciting because Stewart Cink is from my home town in Alabama and his mom was my librarian in elementary school. I've golfed the same links as he has!!!!
Too bad the poor guy was facing somewhat of a lose-lose situation - having to beat out 59 year old Tom Watson, the fan favorite, or losing to him and coming in second. But he was gracious in triumph.
PS. AND, I just read he was born on May 21 - MY BIRTHDAY AS WELL! OMG!!!
