Fair Enough

I don't even know where to begin. The Kimberton Community Fair was amazing. JS and I headed out there around 6:30 with our goals set on playing a few games, riding a few rides, trying to sneak into the "youth" pie eating contest, and watching the pig/goat/duck races. We were not disappointed. No recounting of events can even do our experience justice. But I'll try.

(For this picture, we pulled half way off the road, parked, ran out by the intersection and snapped the shot, hopped back in the car, and made it for the light to turn green!)

FOOD CONSUMPTION - BBQ sandwiches, ears of corn, funnel cake, cream soda and black cherry cola.

RIDES - the FIRE BALL! Upside down. And backwards. This made me sick. I was quite disappointed in my stomach, but then again, I did just down 1.5 sodas.

GAMES - some dart game with a creepy man trying to convince me to play more and more and more - I won a stuffed dog! The ball and bucket game - toss the ball into the bucket. JS says it is impossible, but then I got one on the first try!! Unfortunately, when we had to get two in a row, it didn't work out. Consolation prize - pink stuffed bear.

ANIMALS - dairy cows, sheep, pig races, goat races, duck races, fair people...

BINGO - I won! Once. But this other lady won at least 4 times when we were there. JS was a loser.

While we weren't able to convince the pie eating contest lady that we were "youth" (despite squatting to make ourselves short at the window), we did have a wonderful time people watching and taking photos like tourists!!! Hahahahahaha. We definitely looked like we didn't belong.

Kimberton Fair = A+
