Lost the battle but won the war!

Yesterday we held our First Annual Apple Pie-off!! This started as a bet between me and my friend JS a couple years ago, and it's been a long time in the making. We finally decided to just set a date and do it! And DK decided to enter a pie as well - 3 pies to taste!

So yesterday we blindfolded our judges ANTM, JM, and RO, and AB fed them pieces of pie. The judges had a conversation (much like on Top Chef), and then each ranked the pies in order. In the end, JS and DK tied for 1st and I came in 2nd, despite the fact that my pie was perfect, an excellent traditional pie. However, by the end of evening, MY pie was the only one completely eaten! I lost the battle but won the war!
