BUYER BEWARE!

So I bought this squash racket on Ebay for $1.29, plus shipping, from a liquidation company, but the description and picture looked fine. It came damaged, most likely from shipping, since there was a dent in the box. So I called the company, Empire Liquidators, and they said, no worries, send it back and we'll get you a refund.

Soooooo, I send it back and then check up on it in a week or so, and was told that if I left positive feedback I'd get my refund in a day. Read: EXTORTION. I said no, I only leave feedback when the entire transaction is complete and I didn't have a positive experience. No refund, no refund, no refund. Called a week later and was told my refund was processd. Read: LIE. No refund, no refund, no refund. Called again a week later and was told that I need to leave positive feedback for the customer service person to even get my info to even process the refund. Read: BS.

Then I called again and got a helpful lady who said she'd send me a replacement. Fine. She'd go look for another squash racket and call me back. Read: SUCKER. But I'm no sucker. I called again, oh yes, you, I haven't found anything, just a sec. Put on hold. Then hung up on.

That was the last straw. So I filed a complaint with Paypal and Empire Liquidators actually upgraded it to a claim. I get an email from Paypal saying they are looking into it, but haven't heard anything for a while so I checked online and got the response to my claim from Empire Liquidators:

"This item has not been returned by this customer as of this date. Therefore, a refund or a replacement have not been issued."

Little do those suckers know, I HAVE THE FEDEX RECEIPT THAT SAYS THEY RECEIVED IT! And now I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. I'm so going to win this dispute.
