Service fees just piss me off. I mean really, what are we paying a service fee for? That's the service person's JOB. They should be providing service. They are service providers. We shouldn't have to pay an extra fee. And what if you don't like the service? You don't have a choice. Something about this smells fishy.
I just bought a plane ticket and was looking at all the costs. When you select your flights they trick you into thinking you are getting something cheap. Then you click "purchase ticket" and what pops up? A ticket that's $100 more expensive. What for? SERVICE FEES. There are fees for leaving the country, fees for entering a country, a passenger facility charge (WHAT? Who even knows what that means? I don't need any facilitating as a passenger. I can get there myself, thank you.), immigration fees, animal and plant inspection fees, a SEPTEMBER 11 SECURITY FEE! Ridiculous. They just rape you, the airlines. And nobody seems to care.
Now I understand the cost to operate something like an airplane is incredible, especially with the rising fuel costs. But seriously, if they are going to charge these fees, why do they have to try and trick you and not mention them until you click "purchase ticket"? That's just plain cruel.
And another thing, a little off the subject, but talking about paying to enter and leave the country, I really hate that you essentially have to pay to enter this world and pay to leave this world. That ain't right.

i was wondering what a hyperlink to "facilitating" was going to be...love it! i suspect you're a lot happier with this world than your blog would have me believe (e.g. "fuel costs").
was the goat picture for manidis? i think she'd like that.
