Ingrid Michaelson

Last night my friends JS and KP threw me a belated birthday surprise. We went out to eat at Coquette - nice place, good food, but it took a while for our food to come out and the restaurant was pretty empty.

Then we walked to my surprise...the Ingrid Michaelson concert on South St! Now, when it comes to music, I never know the names of the singers, bands, or even titles of the songs. Basically, I can get the refrain. JS was trying to sing some of Ingrid's jingles to help me identify her, but to no avail. (For those of you who don't know, one of her songs was on Grey's Anatomy and another was the Old Navy sweater song.) No matter, my friend SH KNOWS INGRID! It was pretty cool, we got to go back stage and meet her and her band. The concert was awesome, entertaining, funny, and delightful. What a nice birthday surprise!
