Sunburn...ouch.

IR and I headed to the beach this weekend for the first beach day of the year. It was quite chilly (the water was ICE), and there seemed to be blue sky everywhere except for the large cloud directly over the sun! Nonetheless, we had our beach day and it was quite pleasant. Later that night at dinner was when I started to realize it might not have been so pleasant. My arms started to turn to fire and then my back and back of my legs blew up!

Things I've learned about sunburn:

1. It hurts (well, I knew that, but I actually haven't been burnt in a really really long time).
2. It is much much more red under incandescent light.
3. It can turn cool shower water into hot water.
4. It hurts.
5. Wearing clothing while sunburnt is upsetting.
6. Playing rugby all day in 90 degree heat after getting sunburn it stupid.
7. Fat doesn't just burn, it FRIES.

So, note to self, wear sunscreen.

In other news, this is my 100th post! Thanks for reading folks.
