Today it snowed. Just a thin film of what I would call dry and light snow. But because it is just warm enough, the snow on the road partially melts, partially packs on the streets. And this is dangerous - for bikers.
Tonight I saw a biker take a turn and completely wipe out, skidding across the street. It was actually quite funny. But I didn't laugh until I saw him get up and begin riding again. I promise. And if I weren't still a block away, I would have asked if he was okay. I promise.
I think maybe I'll walk where I need to go tomorrow if the conditions don't change.
