Today in my Federal Income Tax class, we had a library research day. A legal librarian came in to talk about all sorts of things from how the Treasury and IRS interact, IRS services, research tools to find all the administrative rulings, tax courts, etc. It was actually quite interesting. But the best quote of the day was when our professor was talking about how the IRS website is one of the most popular websites out there. In response, the librarian said, "You can see why."
I must say, I took this class because I'm extremely stupid when it comes to anything related to taxes and I wanted to get smarter...I seem to receive the information in one ear, understand it for a fleeting moment, then lose it out my other ear, so that my long term tax memory is pretty bad. But I've found what I've learned so far rather interesting and the more I go over it, the more it seems to make sense. So, SUCCESS! I guess?!?

I must say - library day was my favorite so far. Every day, when I wake up, I must check the IRS bulletin to see what new tax ruling happened overnight! It's no surprise it is one of the most popular web sites.
