I just heard on tv that there were two hypodermic needles TAPED UNDER THE STAIR HAND RAILS at Philly's Somerset SEPTA station. WHAT??
I also just read that SEPTA bus Route 48 Northbound is detourd off of Aspen St because of a large pothole...UNTIL 3/24/2010!!! 2010!!! Okay, a little less disturbing than the hypodermic needles, but still, it means I have to walk a whole extra block from the station to my house.
And apparently there is a genius coming up - I managed to find this little boy online.

you are right. it should NOT take a year to fix a pothole. what are they filling it with? whale bones?
