The Circus!

So Ringling Bros Circus is in town for a couple weeks and my friend KP got some discounted tickets. Me, KP, JS, and EM headed to the Wachovia Spectrum to see the tigers and elephants and clowns! The last time I had been to the circus was when I was 5 (everything in the past was when I was 5) and lived in Michigan. I remembered elephants and tigers, unicycles on tightropes, the trapeze, clowns in cars, cotton candy, and those plastic sparkler things with lights in them.

This circus was pretty spectacular. Lots of people and lights and activities. They had these amazing bouncing tubes (I suppose instead of unicycles), a motorcycle on a high wire, motorcycles doing circles in a cage (scary!), tiny ponies, tigers, elephants (my favorite!), twirling people, swinging people, trapeze people. I even bought a snowcone in an elephant mug (pictured below)!

I must say though, I was a little disappointed with the lack of unicycles, dangerous juggling stunts, fire, and a man being shot from a cannon. And the main clown had an annoying speech problem. But the elephants were AWESOME. I love them.

Dear Pinguin Files,

Do you sell little elephants? I would like to get one for my twin sister Constanza. I hope you still have some. Otherwise, it would hurt her feelings.

Constanza collects little figures of animals.
