But yesterday I did see two amusing things. First, in front of the Art Museum (which is always full of tourists running the Rocky steps...funny in itself), I saw a dad pulling a kid on his bike by a very very long rope. The kid was just hanging out, looking around, and the dad was cycling away towards a group of people. The rope had to be at least 20-25 ft long. It just seemed weird. Unfortunately I didn't stick around long enough to see the kid whipped into the crowd of people or oncoming traffic.
The second amusing thing I saw was a fat orange cat hanging halfway out a 3rd floor window. This cat was just sort of lounging with a very large portion of his body drooping down the wall. Arms hanging down. Again, unfortunately I didn't stick around long enough to see if this fat cat could pull himself back into the window or if it is really true that cats always land on their feet.
Here's a picture of a bonobo.

Those are two amazing stories, but I am upset you didn't stick around to see how either turned out! It's like those movies where you decide the ending. Did she kill him? What just happened? I hate cliffhangers. Now I'm worried. Poor kitty.
I have never seen a bonobo before.
Dear Pinguin Files,
I felt very upset after reading your story. I had decided at first, not to write any comments but I have changed my mind because I don't think I should keep all these feelings inside. I'm very disappointed because you talked about orange cats in your blog. Orange cats are not friends, they are enemies. I have had experience dealing with orange cats in the past. They are nasty tricky animals. You can not trust them, they are very difficult to get rid off and when you less expect it, they reproduce, so you get more orange cats in your yard. I’m disappointed because you talked about it like it was a bad thing to do to push that cat off the window. I don’t think it is. Besides, if you talk about orange cats you are giving them publicity. I think the best thing to do is to ignore them and hope for them to go extinct.

Ps. Did you see an amish hat on the other side of the window?
