A new, scratch that, NO hope

All I wanted to do was start my day out with two stamps.

I don't know why I still get disappointed by anything. I thought I had completely irradicated any semblance of hope from my life. Yet as I walked into Creese Cafe today for my Two Stamp Tuesday Coffee, I got blasted in the face with disappointment. And it stung.

I came to learn that Creese is no longer the cafe I know and call home. They've completely changed their menu items - no Cranberry Turkey sandwich on a croissant. They no longer have any of the specials they had before. No $1 off smoothies on Wednesdays if you order a sandwich, no reduced price paninis on Fridays. Most importantly, NO TWO STAMP TUESDAY for coffee purchases.

Those of you who know me know that I'm addicted to stamp cards. I am very prone to those types of promotions, especially when I actually like the product, as I do coffee. So I threw a fit. And the poor guy behind the register gave me a second stamp and tried to explain nicely that there were no more specials....ever.

The worst part about this is that I didn't notice any new stamp cards. I think I might take my business elsewhere. Usually I don't do this (see my blog on Change), but I recently closed my facebook account because I abhorred the "New Facebook." Who would think up such a stupid layout? I hope whoever it is feels dumb and like a failure in the internet interface world.
