A-Rod did steroids. Is anybody surprised? Really? Who cares anymore?
The thing that kills me is that they claim they didn't know it was illegal or they didn't know what they were using.
First, what elite athlete puts things in their body when they don't know what they are?*
Second, Peter Gammons asked A-Rod "at what point did you realize what you were doing was illegal?" A-Rod answers "at that point in time, there was no legal or illegal. . . . I felt like I hadn't failed the test, I hadn't done steroids."
Give me a break. There are certain things that are classified as steroids. If you do steroids, you do steroids. I don't understand the ambiguity.
*Apparently a lot of them.
