My vice

Well, I guess I have a lot of vices, especially when it comes to food. But today I went overboard. Today I took my 6.5 hour take home exam for one of my classes. I started about 7:15 am, so that meant I had to upload it by 1:45 pm so as not to incur a penalty or have the exam not count at all. Usually when I do take home exams this long, I rarely eat, so by the end I'm famished.

Today, as well, I was expecting a certain package from my parents - a Valentines package with Mom's famous cut out cookies in it, among other things (thanks for the chocolates Secret Admirer!!).

So just as I finished my exam, I hear the mailman drop the mail through the slot. Knowing that the package I was expecting wouldn't fit through the slot, I peeked out the window and sure enough, the mailman had a package! But he was leaving!!!! I was panicked by the thought of having to wait until tomorrow to pick up my package if they took it back to the post office.

I dashed out the door and caught the mailman just as he was turning his truck on. Fortunately, I was able to pick up the package, upload my exam, open my package, and proceed to eat 12 cookies in a row.

What?!?! I was hungry!!!
