This weekend was the USA 7s, as I'm sure you've read here before. ANTM and I decided to surprise our Keystone teammates by showing up in support. We made the decision before the new year and managed to keep it secret until the day of the event. And boy was everybody surprised!
What a great weekend of rugby and fun it turned out to be (despite my cough, sore throat, and snot drips)!! The USA women lost a thriller in sudden death overtime to England. The USA men made it to the semi-finals, beating Australia and Canada in pool play, and narrowly losing to South Africa. Then they beat tournament favorites Kenya to meet Argentina in the semi-final where they lost another close game to the eventual champions.
