SNOW!

Yesterday at work, it was basically a whitewall outside our window, although the snow wasn't sticking at that time. I left work to go take a tax test to be able to volunteer helping low income individuals file their taxes. The test was supposed to take 1.5 hours. 3 hours later, when I finally leave the test center at 8:45, I walk outside into a mess!

I thought maybe I'd just enjoy the snow and walk home. But in a suit, and when the snow is wet and quickly accumulating, I chose instead to try for the bus. Of course, I see the bus one block away, going through the intersection. So I sprint through Love Park to catch the bus at the light on 16th and Arch. But, as I slide across the street in front of the window, the bus driver waves me away because there isn't a real stop there. ACK! So I sprint through the BF Parkway intersection to make the 17th and Arch stop and thankfully hopped on.

Anyway, this morning I wake up to 4-5 inches of snow!!!! It was so pretty!!!! It took me 45 minutes to walk to school this morning because I couldn't stop taking pictures!!!

My penguin finally feels at home!
