Train train train train Wales!
Four trains and 7.5 hours out of Duxford, I arrived in the heart of Snowdonia, Wales. The scenery changed from Ohio, in middle England, to something between Pennsylvania and Colorado, if you can imagine it. I met up with a friend's sister's friend who picked me up from the train station - I'm staying with her for a few days in Penmachno, a little village of about 500. Everything here is made of stone. Old stone. There's one pub that everybody goes to, the people are wonderful, they speak both Welsh and English (and signs are in both Welsh and English), there are lots of sheep, and the air smells so sweet and fresh - it's wonderful!!
