Not really sure how that saying came about, but that's a story for another post. The title refers to my travel to Sweden. Long story short:
1) arrive at bus station to go to Memmingen Airport (111 km outside of Munich - at what distance would you stop referring to an airport as in a certain city???);
2) see that there are at least 100 people there;
3) load your bag on the bus;
4) be denied entry on the bus because it's full;
5) be denied entry on the second bus because it's full;
6) be assured a taxi is coming for you;
7) it does;
8) get on the autobahn with 2 hours till your plane departure;
9) sit still on the autobahn for 1 hour because an apple truck spilled it's apples all over the road;
10) go fast for a little bit until construction and sit some more;
11) wait patiently as the taxi driver can't find airport;
12) run out of taxi at 9:20am for a 9:35am departure;
13) find bag sitting on sidewalk at terminal;
14) get passport verified and go through security in time to run through the gate and on the plane.
15) hold your pee for several hours.
16) arrive in Sweden!!
