Unfortunately in Yvoire, a lot of places close for the season in October, so there weren't too many shops open. But they have really cute shops with handmade items and chocolate shops and cafes and restaurants. I also walked around the medieval castle of Rovorée - an impenetrable fortress in the very early 1300s!!

Yvoire and the Medieval Town
Today I went to Yvoire, which is a medieval town on the east coast of Lake Geneva (or Lac Léman). It's actually in France, not Switzerland! I took the boat from Geneva in the morning, wandered around the town for a bit, then had the traditional lunch of Filet de Perche, which was delicious!
