Workout update. Easter hit me hard. Jelly beans, malted milk balls, peanut butter cups, chocolate bunnies for breakfast, the usual. But I've been keeping up with working out...mostly. And squash has provided a very nice alternative to just plain running. At this point I'm interested in both burning calories (to lose my White Chocolate ass) and increasing my speed endurance. When it really comes down to it, if you can move your ass, who really cares how big it is?
But I also need to get faster. So yesterday I decided to do a bit of a sprint workout (and I even called the chiropractor - productive day!). I ended up doing quite a few shorter sprints, several 50s, and then ended with one 100 and jogging back to the line in 1 minute exactly! 1 down, 9 to go. Today I'm a little bit sore and it feels good, so today I will probably do some sort of active recovery. But it won't be a long 30 minute run that's for sure.
In other news, my interviews yesterday were actually quite helpful in the sense that I became aware of how I'm probably not suited for a large firm. Oh well. We'll see.
