Unlike last week/weekend, I haven't really had much to blog about...except I did have a birthday! I shared the celebration with Charlie (whose birthday is May 22) and IR, with a nice meal and some good beer. Unfortunately we couldn't find a party hat for Charlie...but I did get a great
canteen for a dollar (and a bit of confusion at the register). Also unfortunately, my canteen is not quite as glamorous as the ones in the hyperlink. I couldn't find a picture of it. But it is plastic, turquoise, and has a shoulder strap. And is doubly protected with BPA. I love it.
In other news, I'd like to give an update on my year project - money collection. While there was a constant flow of coinage in the first quarter, unfortunately my second quarter has suffered a recession, much like our country. I found only 2 pennies this week. 2. I didn't even find any lose change lying around when I moved. How disappointing!
I don't know how to rectify this situation...I guess I should just ride it out.

char char is beautiful! she would look better in a party hat!!! there are absolutely no party supply stores in KS according to the yellowpages...i'm going to get on that. find my niche.
