Walk like an Egyptian...

So my friend SP has this garden plot in a community garden near Drexel along with GSB, JS, and a few other Drexel people. He asked me the other day if I wanted to stop by and help them move some stones. I agreed, thinking it was just a few larger rocks. Fastforward to today and I hadn't heard from SP so I just assumed it wasn't happening, with the potential for rain and whatnot.

I was headed out to REI when I got the call. Funny enough, SP was also interested in going to REI so I decided to turn around and help move some rocks and then we would go to REI. Little did we know just what this rock moving would entail. Below I've posted some pictures that illustrate the process and a couple videos to further help my readership understand just what an endeavor this was. Let's just say I got a taste of how the ancient Egyptians felt when they were building the pyramids.

Stage 1: Assess the situation. Those rocks look heavy...
Stage 2: Find the "rock bar" and get to work!

Stage 3: PUSH!

Stage 4: One down, 10 to go.

Stage 5: Finished project, 1 hour later. Yeah, we're good.

i really like those trousers you're wearing. they seem sturdy enough to move rocks and look like they could potentially pass as business casual. where did you get them??
