DANGER!
I have found that this new experiment creates an added dimension of danger into my life. Not that I need any more opportunities to be dangerous (my recent bike "accident" illustrates that point). But when you are looking for money, you are always looking down. And this can be a problem when walking (or riding) in a city. Seldom now do I wait for green to cross a street - there's a penny in the middle of it! Seldom now do I watch for car doors opening as I ride my bike on streets with no bike lanes - there's a dime by the sidewalk...no just gum. Seldom now do I see the headlights of the car that's about to hit me. Oops. But those who take greater risks get greater rewards. My reward this morning is $0.14 and a small silver carabiner! Cool.

If I find money in the street, can I donate it to your cause?
you certainly can. although it will have an asterisks by it (like barry bonds should have by his name) because i didn't find it myself.
I found a nickel today!
And a penny in the washing machine at work. My tally: $0.06.
Is this entire blog going to be about your money experiment? Maybe you could publish a paper at the end. Be careful out there.
