Irony

I think my life is kind of ironic. But I'll spare you the details of all the little inconsequential ironic events. You'd probably find them un-ironic anyway. How ironic. I think that my middle name should be Irony. Kimberly Irony Magrini. Then my initials would be K.I.M. Is that ironic or just funny? Or nothing? I'm leaning towards sort of funny.

I hate the end of my weeks. Previously, I used to love Thursdays because I would have already gotten all my work done for Friday by Thursday afternoon/evening and be able to relax from then through the weekend. Now, however, somebody thought it would be fun to schedule a two hour class Thursday afternoons from 3-5. It wouldn't be so bad if this class was somewhat challenging in any way. But mostly it is sitting there for 2 hours thinking about how we could fit everything we are learning into just 45 minutes. Or how much better it would be if we had all of the material for every class over the term in just one day. It would probably only fill up about 4 hours. The irony is that this class is about probably one of the most important and most used things about being a lawyer - interviewing, counseling, and negotiating. Oh well.

In an effort to get you to blog more (do it!)...I'm commenting: it's at least debatable what "irony" actually means when you bring it up outside of formal literature, etc.---(Webster) "the use of words to express something other than and especially the opposite of the literal meaning" or (Alanis Morisette)
