Yesterday I had the luxiury of an afternoon off (well, early afternoon) as my 1pm class was canceled so I decided to join some friends for lunch. We thought afternoon errand running would be a fun group project so we hopped in C's car and took off to the dry cleaners and the apparently ghetto and below average post office (compared to midwest standards I suppose), and then I suggested we get ice cream. It's never too cold for ice cream. So on our way to gelato in center city, C sort of didn't really stop at a stop sign, right in front of a police man.
Yes, you guessed correctly, the lights went on and we pulled over. C was unlucky enough to not have her license. She told the po-po it was stolen here in Philly (highly possible) right out of her jacket when it was in the coat check. C is a genius.
Where were you? At a bar, just the other night. What bar? One up on South St, JS contributed. He stared at me in the back seat with my tassled winter cap, and i stared back with a look somewhere between annoyance and disgust. It must also be mentioned that JS was holding a pile of dirty clothes in her lap.
The cop seems satisfied with all of our answers. I don't know where you guys are staying but if you go anywhere keep your wallet with you because there are a lot of little crackheads running around here. I'm so glad this man was doing his job so well.
The gelato we got was absolutely delicious.

I think the best part is that C really left her wallet at the dentist months ago.
Damn, that gelato WAS good.
What flavor of gelato did you get?
The nice fella at the gelato place at 13th and Sansom broke the rule about only combining two flavors, and instead created a mishmash of bittersweet chocolate, hazelnut, coconut and pistachio for us.
