So my weekend was extremely productive. Probably the most interesting thing I did was try to melt house keys with my roommate. Just a word of advice - don't try to do it. You'll be disappointed and suffer from sniffing some terrible vapors.
The second most interesting thing I did was watch the Olympic trials for table tennis, or more sophisticatedly - ping pong. I have now fallen in love with ping pong. In a few years when my body is fully beaten and I am unable to support my own weight, I will turn to ping pong. These people are amazing.
The best match was the #5 ranked player in the country Jazna Reed (37 yrs old) against some no name 12 year old asian girl. Jazna was rude and arrogant, throwing her paddle on the table every time they switched sides or had a time out. The 12 year old prodigy was enthusiastic but stoic, following every point she won with a "Ga!" This Ga! visibly irritated Jazna and made me chuckle every time. Unfortunately, the prodigy fell in the 7th game (they play best of 7), 11-8.
I also found $0.58...28 pennies and 3 dimes!

why were you and glover burning metal keys? doesn't dr. gloyer know better???
Let's play Find the Contradiction in your entry: "In a few years when my body is fully beaten and I am unable to support my own weight, I will turn to ping pong. These people are amazing."
why are you being so mean? there is no contradiction there. is it because i called ping pong players amazing and i suggested that when i can't support my own weight i will become one? i don't understand. but i like games. can you make it easier?
ps. katy, it wasn't dr. gloyer burning keys with me. it was my other roommate.
GA! I think it should be mentioned that I (the lovely Black Ice) was there with you during these events.... I love the spotlight ... GA!
